Halloween

Halloween was great this year, Abi was really excited to go and she also chose her own costume, Gus went to a couple of the outings but slept through the trick or treating in our neighborhood.  PS I have had the pictures saved in a draft for a while, but so busy with everything.

What is happening in the Walter world

I try but it doesn't happen as often as I would like. I guess I figure most of my followers are on facebook and get to see what is going on there, but here is an update of what is going on.

The kids are getting so big funny I got a email talking about that Abi will be turning 4 soon, I thought I know don't need to remind me.  So Miss Abigail is getting big and her personality is wow she is still working on her speech so that makes her seem smaller then she is. The first picture she brought home a flower from school the other day and was so excited to give it to me and I was just as excited to receive it from her.  I had been out shopping for her and got to show her the cloths I got and she was so excited to have new cloths she kept saying Pretty and would take off with it and go look in the mirror. She is a princess after all.  The picture of her with her name I feel so bad that happened 2 weeks after school started, I was so proud of her that she can now write ABI, I see that the other day she had ABIGAL, oops they missed the I but could be an honest mistake will keep watching if I see it again I will let them know.  Last weekend Abi and I were able to do something that I have been waiting for her to be old enough to do we went to Disney On Ice Dare to Dream and she loved it he sat so nice in aww just watching and would clap and smile was so happy to share this moment with her. Now that Gus is getting bigger they are playing more together we still have a lot of scream moments where he does something Abi doesn't like and her response is to scream....

Now on to the baby, In the last week he has started to take a few steps, still wobbly but he is doing it. As of yesterday he can now say Aww b, (Abi) it is so cute he loves his sister she can do no wrong in his eyes, she walks into a room and he lights up. He has 4 teeth and working on more. We are looking forward to going home for Christmas to see the family and they can see how much they are growing. Gus also has such a personality he is a mama's boy he is getting into so much and is going to be our big trouble maker, he can't sit still and can't keep anything out of his mouth, but he is our little man.

One year

It's official we have a 1 year old, wow that year went by fast, I still remember the details (that I can ) from that night he made his grand entrance 6 weeks early. The 2 weeks he spent in the hospital went slow. Here are some pictures from his party, he did do really good, didn't want to go to any one but Mommy, daddy and Rob but that is normal he is not like his sister, only looks but acts so different  he is so shy and crys if anyone looks or gets to close to him and he holds on for dear life. Not one to sit for a while and play with toys, he will for a couple mins and toss it aside for a new one. Oh did I mention, he can pull the protectors from the electrical outlet. We got different ones so lets see if he still can. But we do love him with all our hearts.

I am a little sad, don't get me wrong, I love my mother in law, she is so sweet, kind of full of love for us, but the reason I am sad, Gus has her eyes, now normally it wouldn't bother me, but my kids look like there dad already, and he looks like both his parents, so Abi she has my eyes so that is only thing of me, my dad was a blond as a kid so there is another part of the Johanson but that is it. Gus Daddy all the way with Grandma Alice eyes.

Looking back.

These pictures are a over a year old the ultra sound was 9/7/11 give or take a day or so and the other in 10/1/11 the last pose picture of the belly bump, didn't know it at the time, the little princess wanted go go to so glad she didn't. I remember I was so excited to get dressed up and go out with the girls.  Didn't realize the night would be cut short.  Hard to believe it has almost been a year since Gustaf William decided to join us. What a blessing he is and of course out little princess as well. More to come on that story.....

Up-date....

Ok I know I am so bad at this, but life is going by so fast these days. I am not going to post pictures right now just give you taste of what is going on. I think most of my loyal followers are on Facebook as well.
Abi is loving school every day she says go see Ms. Kathy, and comes home and talks about Ms. Kathy ring bell clean up. Or right now they have been doing a theme centered around mice so she talks about that as well. I will post picture of her latest accomplishment she can write her NAME ABI it is a start and the teacher in me is disappointed in the mommy in me not teaching her myself. She is really into drawing on the chalk board usually mommy or daddy. or writing the letter A

Gus, well that little boy is all boy and not walking but still into everything and followes his sister everywhere which at times she loves and other times it is me reminding her he is a baby and just wants to hang out with his favorite person. He is going to be a climber already he has climbed up his daddy leg to the couch and is trying to use is toys to give him a boost. I have a feeling he will get it figured out one day while I am dealing with Abi and 1 of two things I will come in and see him there or he will fall off and I will hear the scream. He has decided he no longer likes baby food which I should be happy about but it is still hard making meals so he can eat what we are eating.

One thing is for sure they are defiantly brother and sister one minute playing ever so nice with each other and the next minute Abi is yelling cuz Gus touched her or is playing with something that is Abi's or she doesn't want him to play with, what ever the case they are my babies and I love them and life is great with them around.
