I feel bad, I look at a lot of blogs and read them they are cleaver and insightful. Well written and funny mine are not any of those and not sure who even reads them anymore since the bro and sis are on Facebook, but I am going to try and at least post once a week. Now time to watch Game of thrones.
This blog is about our little family. We are blessed with a 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son. Live is busy with these two and they sure are wild and crazy, but loving every minute as a stay at home mom. What more could a mom ask for. This blog was created for family to see what is going on in our life, but feel free to have a look. I am not perfect but I make up for in love.

Happy Birthday Gustaf Long post
Sorry this is long
Today is the day we celebrate the birth of our son. I have since started a new blog since his birth so I want to share the story of his birth. I could link to it but I want to write it as I remember that night so vividly like it was yesterday. It started out as a day I had been waiting for 2 of my girlfriends and I were going to go to a nice wedding at a nice resort for another of our really good girlfriends son and beautiful daughter in law. I got a dress that would fit since I was going to be 34 weeks pg I knew I needed one and it was so pretty so I spent the day pampering myself took a long shower painted my nails worked hard on my make up and hair. Kathy and Sandra picked me up and off we went it was a sunset wedding in a garden so pretty the weather was so nice and it even sprinkled but that didn't damper the mood. I was mad at myself because I wore my favorite heels since I don't wear them that often but wished I hadn't as my feet were killing me.
On into the resort for Cocktail hour, yep not so fun when you can't have one so I drank some diet coke and ate some of the yummy spread. Before this we spent time taking pictures and me my shoes were off and I didn't care they were staying off. On to the reception where the real fun is about to begin.
We found our spot right next to the door and made friends with a nice couple at our table who happened to be a nurse. Time for the wedding march I turn to face the door so I am not in any ones way and I felt a little wetness, now that I am 34 weeks pg I have heard you can pee yourself pretty easily so I thought that was what happened and I was a little worried after the party came in I faced the table and even more wetness which now I knew wasn't right. I stood up and looked at the chair and there was blood, I told Kathy we have to go she asked what didn't hear me I said we have to go I am bleeding now Kathy asked the nice man at our table Mike the retired nurse to help us and he did, the moment we got out of the reception hall I started to bleed a lot gushing at times, he called for towels and they laid me down right there and called 911 while Kathy was getting ahold of Bill who was at home with Abigail. Everything didn't seem real. I knew that I had placenta previa but it had gotten better, we were going to have another ultra sound in 2 weeks to see if I would have to have a c-section, but I also knew if I started to bleed to get to hospital. I got sick as well and Mike was so great taking care of me. I was worried I didn't want anything to happen to my baby boy or did I want the wedding to be ruined. At one time the mother and father of the groom came out in disbelief of what was happening, and they have a friend who was a labor and delivery nurse and they went got her and she came out and took over everything even when the emts got there she was telling them what to due. Since there was so much blood they loaded me up and took off to TMC (which wasn't my hospital) On our way there they were putting in an iv, interesting in a moving vehicle. They were also talking to the hospital letting them know what was going on.
When we got to the hospital they took us to the wrong entrance so here we were wheeling all the way to labor and delivery from the regular emergency entrance. Sandra rode in the ambulance and Kathy followed. They were working so fast getting me in a gown and hooking me up to all the monitors. Bill arrived with Abi and the girls took care of Abi we then found out I was in labor (remember me saying I got sick, it then occurred that yes I was happened when I was in labor with Abi) and baby was doing good no distress for him now we needed to make the big decision to deliver tonight or be monitored and in the hospital until I would deliver. They really said we should have the c-section tonight as the baby wasn't in distress and it would be better vs waiting cuz next time it might not be so good. I was worried we still had 3 weeks until he was considered full term so we talked to a NICU doctor and she told us it would be fine. So here we go let the girls know what was going on and off they went with my daughter for the night and we got ready at 10:49 Gustaf was born. The next few hours were not clear as the spinal tap I was given for the big cut knocked me out. I was in recovery until 3:30am oh and the iv they gave me in the ambulance wasn't even in a vein so they had to redo it. Off to our room where they did take me into nicu to see my boy cuz they took him there right away with Bill following. I do remember he peed all over the nurse right after he was born after that things got fuzzy.
Once in the room we tried to sleep but the cuffs on my legs didn't help and they had to check my vitals ever 30 mins. At 7 we gave up and started to make calls to the family to let them know what was going on. My family had been at a wedding reception for my cousin the same night and had no clue what was going on and were shocked the next day. Sent Bill to check on our baby and I was not allowed out of bed for a few hours yet. My friends came with Goodies and that night before Bill took Abi home with him I did go and see Gus and get to hold him which helped Bill out a lot as I was not to happy with everything going on.
He spent 2 weeks in NICU and the day he came home was so wonderful, the hospital that I delivered at was a 45 min drive from our house

Working on keeping up.
As I write this, Abi and Daddy are playing Mario Kart (she only gets video games on weekends with daddy, I am ok with that) and Gus is throwing a little person toy across the room saying I got it. To say nap time is coming oh ya. We are still dealing with the nasty cold Gus especially, started back on his breathing treatments to help with the cough. So things are germy around here no matter what I do.
Abi is talking and talking back up a storm, wow I didn't know I had a 14 year old and not a 4 yr old. So we are working on that.
Gus is Gus, picking up a new word a day and you can tell he is repeating what his sister says cuz his words are very random, shadow, mario (maryo) and the best was the other night while eating when he says "Eat food Abi" or let go me mom when I change him, there are way more but I can not think of them at this moment, so let me add a few pictures. Abi riding bike and the others were for my mom and dads Anniversary pictures for a updated picture for the grandparents they are my babies and I love them esepically.....

Hard to keep up
So I am trying to make a commitment to keep up with the blog and I will get better, since school has started, I am trying to get used to the new schedule then both kids come down with bad cold. Abi is home today after fighting this for 2 weeks. She loves school, she is going to both a full day 2 times a week and she does her special education for her speech. She has come a long way with her speech still has some problems but better then when she started, I am hoping the regular class will help her even more. I started with only 2 days for her all day one to get used to it. The other reason is it really interferes with Gus nap schedule, which some will agree don't mess with it while others will say who cares. I did get him on a new nap schedule over the summer and but I have noticed we still wake up change diaper and hope in the car. I ran some errands yesterday and this is what happened

Life with this boy....
Is busy and crazy, now don't get me wrong, I love, love, love being a stay at home mom with my 2 babies and wouldn't trade it for anything. My youngest is going to be 22 months on the 1st and he is so different then Abi was at his age, she was content the only thing she climbed on was the couch and the back of the couch oh and the coffee table, now Gus is climbing on everything, I have had to do some serious (ok not yet but working on it) rearranging of furniture and picture frames, also things on or in cupboard like knives are in a vase on counter in the corner behind things so he can not reach or see, our dinning room table has a fence around it with DVD shelf in there along with my wine rack is also in this area, unfortunately he has figured out how to move it out of the way, so far he has left the glasses alone but for how long? Bill said I should just take it down but I said no since I hear when he moves it and I can get to him. These pictures are from some of the new things he has climbed on this week.

To cut or not to cut
Ok ok so most of you already know that we cut Abigail's hair. Now believe me it did not come easily I knew I needed to cut it as it was getting straggly at the ends and always in her way so the plan was to cut it this summer. It helped that I had a girl cut Gustaf hair and she shared she had a girl close to Abis age which was a huge plus. Anyway I finally just did it after talking Abi into as she loves Rapunzel and wants her hair, lol and every time I dress her up I would braid it and she was say I look like Sleeping Beauty, so needless to say she didn't want it cut, so finally I asked if she wanted hair like Princess Sofia and that was it she was ready to cut it. But it was harder on me. Then when I knew I could donate it to Locks for Love it helped. Her it is.

Crazy life
The kids are keeping me busy, especially Gus, he can get into trouble so fast he finds whatever he can and it is used for a different use. But with this he also is saying all sorts of new words, yesterday I said to G did you poop his response peeyou. With the naughty comes the cute he is all boy, last night we found the kids crawling under the bed, and I am thinking how can they fit.
We have done 2 months of swim lessons and I still don't know if Abi passed. The teacher said she made huge progress so she figured she had.

Up to date.
Wow life is getting busier and I don't go anywhere, but I have also been dealing with sick kids seems like one gets better then the other one gets sick, then we will have about a week off then it starts all over again and I am tired of all the sickness. I guess I knew it would happen due to Abi being in school full time but not like this. So I am way behind in updating the blog. Most of you are friends of mine on Facebook don't know if anyone just follows my blog about my crazy loving family if you do so sorry to recap with no pictures right now.
Christmas was fun and fast and sick... We decided to be crazy and drive to see our families I am glad we did and the kids did great for the most part. Gus was the worst which is what you expect from a 1 year old but not bad just a few times he got really sick of sitting in the car and that was more due to hitting Denver at the worst possible time rush hour and G deciding to get really mad and chucking his bottle to where we could not reach it, coming back to Tucson I got smart and made sure there wasn't any gaps and we also spent an extra night in Albuquerque to ring in the new year with friends which turned out to be fun yet stressful as G was really sick that night. SD was fun we got snow but no big blizzards but cold so we didn't spend much time in the snow. We got to see our family and that was it. I always get invites call me when you are home but it never happens not that I don't want to but when you only get to see your parents for a short time and it is once a year you just say maybe next time. We did a out of the way trip to see great friend in Rapid City it was a very short visit, but a nice one. We were gone about 10 days and it went quick but I was glad to have our own car and not take to kids on an air plain that already had week ammun systems.
Since we have been home it is business as usual except so tired of the cough arrrggggg. Abi is busy with school and making progress in school with her speech.
(update.) I wrote this a while ago and just getting back to it.
She loves school and we are looking at enrolling her 2 days a week next year in full time preschool besides her speech schedule.
No Mr G..... that lil boy is all boy and with him and Abi I feel like I never get anything done, he is getting into everything and bothering his big sister so there is also the MOMMY MOM MAMA and NO GUSSY I DON'T LIKE THAT. He is starting to say a few words only mommy and daddy know what they are, Abi, Gus Gus, bottle (baba) Backpack, NO (in several tones) daddy, shoes, eat, stinky that is all I can think of now. He is also running still very clumsy And has since figured out how to open the oven so we got a lock for that, he knows what a door handle is just cant figure it out yet. Since we have been home we scheduled his surgery for the 3 time and canceled it due to the flu, cold allergies and RSV so will have to schedule it again.
Going to post this so I get it done and going to get off before Gus wakes up will try and post a bunch pictures next week. Till then laters.
